On Monday, 8 September, ICT4COP’s Ingrid Nyborg spoke at the UN commemoration of International Police Cooperation, hosted by the Norwegian Police University College (PHS) in Oslo. Her presentation was focused on Norway’s role in capacity building abroad, drawing on key findings and experiences from the ICT4COP project.

The 8th Joint Nordic Development Research Conference (NorDev) was held this year at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) from September 24 to 26, 2025. Several of the Center’s members were present and participated in panels and discussions.

Dr. Khalid, received her PhD from the Department of International Environment and Development Studies, Noragric in 2016. Dr. Khalid has submitted several papers on her work, which will be announced on the ICT4COP Center´s pages when published. Such as, her work with GBV ‘Exploring Complex Realities Around Gender Based Violence, Multiple Legal Orders and Role of Police in Addressing GBV Cases in Pakistan and Pakistani Immigrant Community in Norway’.

Ingrid Nyborg head of ICT4COP Center was invited to Brussels on May 25th to sit on a panel at the EU DG-Home event  'Community Policing' organized by Community for European Research and Innovation for Security (CERIS)

The ICT4COP Center held a successful one-day workshop at the Norwegian Police University College (PHS) Politihøgskolen Oslo on April 18, 2023 on “Norwegian model of preventive policing as a tool: at home and abroad”.

On September 25th, ICT4COP center leader Professor Ingrid Nyborg was in Vienna to deliver a presentation on ‘Post-Conflict Police Reform – Lessons Learned and Way Forward’, for the Organization for European Security Cooperation (OSCE) Security Committee meeting.

Ingrid Nyborg head of ICT4COP Center attended the 'Law Enforcement and Public Health (LEPH) 2023 conference at Umeå University in Sweden from 21-23rd May.
